Alterius Mundi – An alternative to the Herodotus world map centered around ancient Greece
€ 3,00
In his writings, Herodotus from ancient Greece described the world as he – and the Greeks – knew it. Greece itself and its neighboring regions were well known, but the farther away from his homelands, the more inaccurate things became. In this alternative version of the Herodotus world map, that same idea is used but taken to a next level. The farther you get from Greece, the more hostile the environment becomes. And while there are some other civilizations out there, the outer edges of the world are no-man’s-land. Who knows who – or what – lives in those places?
You can either use the labeled version with some real world cities from ancient times and other made up cities, or use the unlabeled version without cities and labels to make this alternative Herodotus world map your own.
The file type of this fantasy map version of Europe is JPG and PNG.
